We are constantly working to make our disease more widely known so that those affected can receive the correct diagnosis and help more quickly in the future. Unfortunately, misdiagnoses such as asthma or psychosomatic illnesses are often made by GPs who do not refer those affected to ENT or thoracic specialists for further clarification.

We currently have 75 members. We recorded the age of 68 members in April 2024. The group is growing steadily, with more and more young people joining recently.

Our self-help group has developed very well. We now have over 80 members. The statistics also show how many people signed up once but never actually registered. Men and children (or their parents) are grouped together in a single column.

Waiting times until the first treatment vary depending on the volume of patients at the clinic, but can sometimes be shortened by contacting the treating physicians directly.

Fortunately, laser treatments are declining.
The CTR also includes reconstructions. For members who have been dilated again since their major operation, the operation was several years ago.
